Individual Counseling
Starting therapy can feel like a significant step, but my goal is to help you feel comfortable and supported from the very first session. Over the years, I've worked with many women to address issues like depression, anxiety, grief, and difficult relationships, as well as to help navigate major life decisions. My aim is to offer support and create a nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your options and find your path forward.
I specialize in working with women facing infertility, college students, postpartum moms, and individuals dealing with relationship struggles. My warm and engaged approach helps clients feel heard and supported as they work toward healing and growth.
You deserve support as you tackle hard things
Sessions are available both in my Saint Paul office or via telehealth.
How Individual Therapy Works
Fill out the contact form to schedule a free consultation. I’ll reach out within two business days to set up a time to talk.
We’ll talk over the phone for about fifteen minutes. I’ll find out what your goals are and share with you ways I could help. You may have questions about the process of therapy and we can discuss them. Then, we’ll decide if we’re a good fit!
We meet for our first session, either at my office or during a secure telehealth visit. I’ll learn more about your background and what you want to work on. We’ll develop a plan for moving forward.
We’ll meet anywhere from weekly to on an “as needed” basis. At each session, we’ll check in about your progress and how I can best support you.

Fill out the contact form on my website or give me a call. We’ll set up a 15-minute free consultation. I’ll share how my practice works and learn more about your needs to see if we are a good fit.

Therapy looks different for each person, which is one of the best parts about it! We can work together to discover what works well for you. Generally speaking, the first session or “intake” will involve hearing more about your background and what you’re struggling with now. I will ask you questions if you’re not sure where to begin or what information might be relevant. Then we’ll develop a plan to meet your goals and I’ll explain any. next steps or resources that may be helpful.

Again, this varies a great deal based on how frequently we meet (anywhere from weekly to on an “as needed” basis), your goals and needs, and your preferences. Most clients begin seeing me weekly to build momentum and then taper down over time.
Supervision Services for LGSWs
As a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW), you are at a pivotal stage in your career. The journey from graduate school to licensure involves continued learning, personal growth, and professional development. My supervision services are designed to support you in this critical period, offering guidance and insight that will help you navigate the complexities of social work practice.
What You Can Expect
Individualized Support: Your needs as an LGSW are unique, and our supervision will be tailored to your current level of expertise and experience. Whether you’re just starting to work with clients or refining your clinical interventions, I will meet you where you are and help you grow from there.
Safe, Collaborative Environment: Supervision is a space for learning and reflection. You’ll have a confidential, non-judgmental space to discuss challenges, share successes, and explore new ways of approaching your work with clients.
Ongoing Professional Growth: Using the developmental model, I will guide you through the stages of professional maturity—building your competence in assessment, treatment planning, ethical decision-making, and case conceptualization.
Empowerment Through Reflection: We will engage in reflective practice, focusing on your thoughts, feelings, and responses to clinical situations. This promotes self-awareness and helps you align your personal values with professional practice.
A developmental model of supervision
My supervision approach is grounded in a developmental model, which recognizes that each social worker's growth occurs in stages. Just as you build your clinical skills over time, you also develop your professional identity, confidence, and understanding of ethical practice. This model provides tailored support based on your unique developmental needs, encouraging reflection, skill-building, and self-awareness.
