I’m glad you’re here!

Meet Michelle

I’m Michelle, and I have years of experience helping women navigate changes and challenges in their lives so they can feel joyful again.

Over my twenty years in the field, I’ve worked with college students, women experiencing infertility, postpartum moms, and those struggling with relationships either in the past or currently.

I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan, specializing in Mental Health, and completed a post graduate fellowship at the Hamm Clinic in psychodynamic therapy. I’ve completed specialized training in treating depression and anxiety, as well as in cultivating self-compassion and shame resilience.

You don’t heal by changing who you are; you heal by learning how to be yourself in the world.

What is it like to work with me?

To make progress toward your goals, it’s so important that you feel comfortable and safe with your therapist. Past clients describe me as engaged, warm, and practical. My hope is that you will feel deeply heard and understood during your time with me, and this is reflected in the questions I ask and the feedback I give. I will check in about your needs at each session, whether you are hoping to leave with action steps or simply need a space to process your week.
