A place to grow and heal
Therapy for women in the Twin Cities
You feel tired, like you’re barely holding it together. It’s hard to enjoy the things that used to make life feel good.
You want to navigate your days with self-compassion and optimism.
My clients often come to therapy feeling stuck, but after working together, they’re energized and ready to cope with life’s challenges.
Meet Michelle
For nearly twenty years, I’ve been working with clients to overcome emotional challenges, navigate change, and simply like themselves better! I attended the University of Michigan (go Blue!) for my Master’s Degree in Social Work. Since then, I’ve received advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindful self-compassion.

My Approach
Coming to therapy is a big step! I hope to set you at ease from the first time we meet. I’ve worked with countless women to address depression and anxiety, painful relationships, grief and loss, and to navigate making big life decisions. It’s important to find a therapist that feels like a good fit, whether you are looking for someone to provide a compassionate and reflective space or want more active guidance, with thoughtful questions and feedback throughout the session. At every step along the way, I will offer support, guidance, and a nonjudgemental space to explore your options.
You don’t have to do it alone, whether you are struggling in a relationship, experiencing infertility or new motherhood, or making career choices.
Together we can discover your strengths and develop coping strategies that fit your life.
I support your ability to approach yourself with compassion and kindness, so that you can navigate life’s ups and downs while remaining connected to yourself.
How can I support you?
The journey to finding the right therapist for you can be emotional and stressful.
Let’s make it easier!
